When compared to the metastatic MDA-MB-231 TNBC cells, the most migratory and invasive mutant p53-expressing cell lines, Y220C and R273C, were less migratory but equally invasive (Supplementary Fig. 6), putting these aggressive p53 mutations at an EMT induction level similar to fully developed metastatic cancer cells. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and metastatic malignant neoplasm.
