Individuals with NASH had higher LSM (6.5 ± 0.3 vs. 4.8 ± 0.1), higher ALT (38.5 ± 0.9 vs. 18.3 ± 0.6), and higher AST (29.0 ± 0.6 vs. 20.4 ± 0.6) than individuals with a normal liver status. Here, GPT is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
