A positive correlation between the levels of the pro-inflammatory cytokines interleukin 6 (IL-6), interleukin 12 (IL-12), interleukin 17 (IL-17) and TNF-α and Enterobacter abundance was observed, but these cytokines were negatively correlated with the abundance of Bifidobacterium, Blautia, Lachnospira, Roseburia and Ruminococcus in SS patients. Here, IL6 is linked to synovial sarcoma.
