CRP and peripheral arterial disease: Guetl et al. [49] conducted a retrospective study in which 2121 patients with PAD were included and, using multivariate regression statistical analysis, demonstrated that increased WMR values (odds ratio 2.25, p < 0.001), older age (odds ratio 1.05, p < 0.001), elevated CRP titer (odds ratio 1.01, p < 0.001) and diabetes mellitus (odds ratio 2.38, p < 0.001) were independently significant predictors of chronic limb-threatening ischemia occurrence.
