On d7 of the study, Longidaze had anti-inflammatory activity; there was a decrease in the total number of leukocytes in the blood, the level of proinflammatory cytokines IL-6 and TNF-α, as well as the component of extracellular matrix HA, decreased in the lungs, and peribronchial and perivascular inflammation decreased compared to groups of mice with pulmonary fibrosis without treatment. Here, IL6 is linked to pulmonary fibrosis.
