While both studies looked into the effects of Remdesivir, one followed its efficacy in children, where the authors noticed elevated transaminase, CRP, LDH, prothrombin time, anemia, and lymphopenia according to COVID severity at the beginning of the treatment, concluding that transaminase levels and prothrombin time were elevated after the Remdesivir intake, which were considered secondary effects of the treatment [98]. Here, CRP is linked to lymphopenia.
