Research by Kim et al. (2018), Miguel-Hidalgo et al. (2010), Qi with colleagues (2019) and Steinacker and co-authors (2021) indicate a relationship between the level of GFAP in biological fluids and the number of dead or damaged astrocytes, as well as the severity of DD [18,20,42,43]. This evidence concerns the gene GFAP and dentin dysplasia.
