While previous research has suggested a potential link between IL-31 and atopic conditions [9,16,17,29,30,31,32,35,36] such as AD, the non-significant difference in IL-31 levels between atopic and non-atopic CSU patients, as indicated by the Mann–Whitney test (p-value = 0.2491), adds a layer of complexity to our understanding. Here, IL31 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
