Univariate Cox analysis showed that the presence of dysplasia, moderate to strong epithelial DcR2 expression, moderate to strong Ki67 expression, suprabasal Ki67 expression and cytoplasmic DEC1 expression above the basal layer were significantly associated with oral cancer risk (Table 3), thus exhibiting shorter time to progression to OSCC (Table 3).
