In the AD group, the levels of eight proteins—HV316 (gene name: IGHV3-16), PDCD5 (PDCD5), H2B1K (H2BC12), CAH11 (CA11), ACBP (DBI), CH60 (HSPD1), PPIC (PPIC), and MFAP5 (MFAP5)] were elevated, while 60 proteins [the top nine being: MYP2 (PMP2), AT1B1 (ATP1B1), TPM3 (TPM3), LIGO3 (LIGO3), SRGN (SRGN), MCP (CD46), PRDX3 (PRDX3), CAZA2 (CAPZA2), and ZNF84 (ZNF84)—were downregulated compared with the NC group. This evidence concerns the gene PDCD5 and Alzheimer disease.
