Analysis of the data showed that GPER1 mRNA levels were lower in the esophageal carcinoma tissues than the normal esophageal tissues (p < 0.05), and samples with low GPER1 (n = 91) RNA levels showed a lower survival rate than those with high levels (n = 91) of GPER1 RNA (p < 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene GPER1 and carcinoma of esophagus.
