Higher protein and mRNA levels of Zbtb20 due to either forced Zbtb20 expression or to the silencing of Zbtb20 mRNA-interacting microRNAs (miR) were concomitant with increased proliferation in HCC, NSCLC, GBM, GAC, AML, and breast cancer. The gene discussed is ZBTB20; the disease is glioblastoma.
