Actinidia deliciosa (kiwi) extract, according to the current study, showed anti-inflammatory and antihyperglycemic activities by modulating inflammatory molecules such as TNF-α, INF-γ, and IL-6, as well as mTOR, while restoring normal levels of antioxidant enzymes, oxidative stress, and apoptotic markers in type 2 diabetes experimental rats fed a high-fat diet.
