Overall, the results described above indicate that JADE2 mRNA may not be suitable as a candidate biomarker to predict overall response to ICI in NSCLC; however, future studies will be required to delineate its roles in CD8+ T cell infiltration and regulation of PD-L1 expression and to assess it as a potential biomarker to predict T cell exhaustion in NSCLC.
