Figure 3 provides a summary of the therapeutic roles of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-based therapy in acute inflammatory pancreatic diseases based on published studies [14,15,42,43,44]. Furthermore, Chen et al. demonstrated that MSC exosome administration enhanced cell viability through Akt/Nrf2/HO-1 signaling, corroborating Zhao et al.’s findings of an apoptotic effect. These findings collectively highlight the potential of MSC-CM in addressing systemic symptoms caused by acute pancreatitis [32,34]. This evidence concerns the gene HMOX1 and acute pancreatitis.
