Previous studies on the association between PCT and neonatal sepsis have reported a sensitivity of 78% and a specificity of 50% at a PCT cutoff value of 0.5 ng/mL; sensitivity of 58% and specificity of 83% at a cutoff value of 1 ng/mL; sensitivity of 83% and specificity of 61% at a cutoff value of 2 ng/mL; and a sensitivity of 68% and a specificity of 67% at a cutoff value of 5.75 ng/mL [27,28,29,30]. Here, CALCA is linked to Neonatal sepsis.
