Immunofluorescence staining of breast tumour tissue with antibodies against EphA3, Transgelin and the endothelial cell marker CD31 confirmed coincident expression at the protein level (Figure 6C), with some EphA3 staining also in Transgelin-negative cells, including endothelial cells, which is consistent with the RNA expression data.
