CDH3 and neoplasm: Subbiah et al. [33] reported P-cadherin expression in tumors and normal tissues and demonstrated a moderate amount of P-cadherin expression in normal splenic tissue; however, as previously reported by others, nonspecific binding of mAbs as well as macrophage uptake [37,38] may cause increased tracer accumulation in the spleen, in addition to possible aggregation/complexation, which, when combined with patient tumor burden, may explain the 70% higher spleen human dose estimates.
