For the combination of the BRAF inhibitor dabrafenib and the MEK inhibitor trametinib, the pooled analysis of the pivotal phase III trials, COMBI-d and COMBI-v, showed a 5-year OS rate of 34% (95% CI 30–38) and a median OS of 25.9 months (22.6–31.5) in previously untreated advanced melanoma patients with a BRAF V600E or V600K mutation [10].
