The results showed that the mRNA abundance for TEAD4 was significantly increased in the cyst group (p < 0.05; Figure 4B) while the other TEAD family members (TEAD1, TEAD 2 and TEAD3) were not statistically different between the control and cyst group (p > 0.05; Figure 4B), and that CTGF, BIRC5 and ANKRD1 mRNA abundance was significantly higher in cyst group in comparison to controls (p < 0.05; Figure 4B).
