The pathological expression of CCR5 has been demonstrated in many different types of tumors, including breast cancer [9,11], prostate cancer [26], colorectal carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, melanoma, head and neck cancer, gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, Hodgkin lymphoma, and acute lymphocytic leukemia [27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35]; reviewed in [10,30]. This evidence concerns the gene CCR5 and breast cancer.
