There was a statistically significant difference between the median CCL5 values determined at the time of admission (<4.5 h) and assessed according to the mRS scale one year after the stroke (94.2 ng mL−1 with IQR 9.9 vs. 72.4 ng mL−1 with IQR 29.3, respectively, p = 0.011) and between CCL5 on day 7 and NIHSS at admission, Table 3 (65.4 ng mL−1 with IQR 21.5 vs. 47.3 ng mL−1 with IQR 17.7, respectively, p = 0.032). The gene discussed is CCL5; the disease is stroke disorder.
