Several non-invasive molecular imaging approaches have been studied for the detection of autoimmune myocarditis, including [18F]FOL,6 [11C]methionine,7 [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-MSA (mannosylated human serum albumin),32 18-kDa translocator protein (TSPO)-targeting PET,11 and fluorine-19-based CMR;33 however, none of these used an adhesion molecule-targeting PET probe. The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is autoimmune myocarditis.
