CD8A and neoplasm: Although the primary tumor is associated with increased levels of Tregs, metastasis had increased levels of activated CD8 Gzmk cells, CD8 Gzma, the dysfunctional CD8 Lag3 T cells, and an overall increase in activated/naïve T-cell ratio (Fig. 2F and G), indicating that a distinct set of signals shape the metastatic microenvironment.
