Nikolic et al. found a higher percentage of sympathetic dysfunction in thymoma-associated MG patients (80% vs. 34.8%), but similar percentages of abnormal results (handgrip test and orthostatic hypotension test) in AChR-positive MG patients without thymoma and MuSK-positive MG patients compared to controls, respectively [8]. The gene discussed is MUSK; the disease is myasthenia gravis.
