NEAT1 has been reported highly expressed and functions as an oncogene in several cancers including prostate cancer,78 laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma,79, 80 breast cancer,81, 82 ovarian cancer,83 colorectal cancer,84 gastric cancer,85 glioma86 and oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma.87 The gene discussed is NEAT1; the disease is breast cancer.
