INS and Insulin resistance: PCOS women had significantly higher BMI, waist circumference, waist-hip ratio and blood pressure; higher blood glucose, insulin and more insulin resistance assessed by HOMA-IR, QUICKI and Gutt index; higher TC, TG, LDL-c, LAP and lower HDL-c; as well as higher hsCRP, which can be regarded as a cardiometabolic risk marker.
