In the current report, a comparison of serum IL-10 concentrations between OSAHS patients with an average AHI ≥ 30 and the control group were carried out in 7 studies, and the findings suggested that serum IL-10 levels in these patients were not significant different as compared to those in the control group (SMD = −0.71, 95% CI = −1.72 to 0.30, P = .171). This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
