In this work, we have investigated the role of the biological aging genes in prostate cancer progression and identified four prostate cancer-specific genes (CD44, GADD45B, STAT3, and GFAP) having a significant ability to predict time to BCR in prostate cancer patients, especially for patients with a higher Gleason score and for patients of younger chronological age. The gene discussed is GFAP; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
