Next, following an initial decrease in expression at 24 hpl, we observed that opn1mw1 transcripts increased significantly, surpassing the naïve control baseline levels to match the levels of the dominantly expressed paralogue opn1mw2 (Figure 2R, green), which remained well below its baseline level, along with the other two paralogues, opn1mw3 and opn1mw4. The transcriptional kinetics of these paralogues follows a completely distinct trajectory in the AL model as compared to the CLL model.
