It showed that compared to the reference, anti-beta-LGB (AUC = 0.991; 95% CI: 0.97 to 1.00; P < 0.0001), ZO-1 (AUC = 0.882; 95% CI: 0.78 to 0.97; P < 0.0001), LPS (AUC = 0.953; 95% CI: 0.89 to 1.00; P < 0.0001), and sCD14 (AUC = 0.800; 95% CI: 0.67 to 0.92; P = 0.0002) were able to distinguish between patients with FM and ME/CFS as demonstrated by the AUC values using a univariate model (Figures 5A-E).
