MAPKAPK2 and familial pancreatic carcinoma: For example, inhibition of MK2 by MK2.III was shown to sensitize p53 mutated pancreatic cancer cells (Panc1 and MIA PaCa-2) and osteosarcoma (U2OS) to cisplatin [44], and, in contrast, protect cancer cells from gemcitabine [44–46].
