AFAP1L1 and neoplasm: In recent years, several studies have indicated that AFAP1L1 can participate in the occurrence and progression of tumors, mainly through the regulation of actin cytoskeleton remodeling to regulate tumor cell morphology, movement, and pseudopod formation, thereby affecting tumor cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and epithelial interstitial transformation (EMT) [15, 18, 20–22].
