Notably, in psoriasis patients treated with an anti-interleukin (IL)-17A biologic (secukinumab), CXCR4 expression on circulating neutrophils was reduced over a 12-weeks period treatment (Fig. 1h, Supplementary Fig. 1e) and was concomitant with a decrease in overall disease activity (Supplementary Fig. 1f). The gene discussed is CXCR4; the disease is psoriasis.
