Crizotinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) targeting ALK, MET and ROS1, was approved as the first-line drug for ALK-rearranged metastatic non-small cell lung cancer [1], as ALK rearrangement is known as “diamond mutation” and lead to high sensitivity to ALK TKIs [2]. This evidence concerns the gene ALK and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
