The comparison of clinical data between pancreatic cancer patients and the control group showed that TG and NSE of pancreatic cancer patients were higher than the control group, and there was a significant positive correlation between triglyceride and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) (P = 0.0004) (Figures 1(a)–1(c)). This evidence concerns the gene ENO2 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
