HLA-A and melanoma: Further analysis of the Tumor Skin Cutaneous Melanoma—TCGA dataset revealed that a high HLA-A expression level favored an increased OS of melanoma patients (p = 0.0006; log-rank test = 11.76) regardless of PRELP expression levels (log2 5.7 to 13) (Fig. 2D), but PRELPhigh expression (log2 > 10.6) was accompanied by high levels of HLA class I expression and increased patients’ OS (p = 0.01168; log-rank test = 6.359) (Fig. 2E).
