The acute PML survival rate of our study (87%) is consistent with that of other NAT-PML cohorts (70–92%) and higher compared to historical PML cohorts and to HIV-PML prior to the introduction of the highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) (Table 3) [16, 20–23, 48–51].
