However, there is still a gap in the study of BARD1 in GBM, and according to our findings, BARD1-positive GBM cells represent a poor prognosis and poorer immunotherapeutic efficacy, and subsequently, based on a series of knockout experiments, it is more confirmed that aberrant expression of BARD1 in gliomas can contribute to malignant transformation of cells and lead to proliferation of tumor cells, avoidance of apoptosis, and promote abnormal biological behaviors such as invasion and metastasis. This evidence concerns the gene BARD1 and glioblastoma.
