In recent years, although there have been a few new treatment options available, such as the olaparib, a poly ADP-ribose polymerase inhibitor, and larotrectinib, an inhibitor of BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations, as well as entrectinib for neurotrophic tyrosine kinase fusion tumors, more potential targets and clinical trials are urgently required to investigate improvement in terms of therapeutic effect within PAAD (Sohal et al., 2020; Li et al., 2005; Roth et al., 2001). This evidence concerns the gene BRCA2 and pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
