When stratified by diabetes, serum albumin level was also higher in CKD patients with LPD–KAs compared to those with LPD alone in both diabetes (3.9 ± 0.6 vs. 3.7 ± 0.6 g/dL, p = 0.002, respectively) and non-diabetes (3.8 ± 0.5 vs. 3.6 ± 0.7 g/dL, p = 0.001, respectively).
