Although there was no significant change in the overall TEER values after the two different disease-derived CVB4 infections (p > 0.05), the immunofluorescence results demonstrated the dissociation of ZO-1 in GZ-R6-infected HAE was more intense and rapid than that of GZ-HFM01-infected HAE at 4 and 8 d.p.i. (Figure 5A), which is consistent with the lower TEER values at 10 and 12 dpi in GZ-R6-infected HAE (Figure 4D). Here, TJP1 is linked to infection.
