Our present study confirmed that FGF21 > 216.99 pg/mL was an independently predictive of MACE occurrence in HD patients, which was in accordance with several previous studies in patients with type 2 diabetes and in patients with cardiovascular diseases [10–13,34,38–40], whereas was inconsistent with other observations [6,15,16]. The gene discussed is FGF21; the disease is Huntington disease.
