LMNB1 and adult-onset autosomal dominant demyelinating leukodystrophy: ADLD is the main lamin-B linked disease and it is characterized by lamin B1 accumulation caused by tandem duplications or upstream deletions of the LMNB1 gene (Padiath et al., 2006; Giorgio et al., 2015; Evangelisti et al., 2022; Neri et al., 2023).
