ACE and congenital heart disease: Figure 2 displays the distribution of chronic diseases. Of those maintained on cardiovascular medications, 20 patients were on aspirin, seven were on furosemide, nine were maintained on oral anticoagulation, eight on beta blockers (one Carvedilol, three Atenolol, and four propranolol), and 14 maintained on ACE inhibitor (nine on enalapril and five on captopril). The rest of the medications were prescribed for non-cardiovascular causes. In addition, Table 2 displays the distribution of patients according to the congenital heart anomaly.
