Multivariate analysis found male sex (Odds ratio [OR] 0.507, 95% Confidence Interval (CI) 0.310–0.829), increasing tumor size (OR 0.963, 95% CI 0.933–0.995), macroadenomas (OR 0.381, 95% CI 0.212–0.685), MSAs (OR 0.113, 95% CI 0.013–0.977), and mixed GH/PRL adenomas (OR 0.067, 95% CI 0.007–0.665) to be negative predictors of postoperative disease remission. This evidence concerns the gene GH1 and neoplasm.
