The established four-gene panel (human leukocyte antigen-J [HLA-J], complement factor properdin [CFP], Syntaxin-11 [STX11], and nuclear transcription factor Y subunit C [NFYC]) could discriminate STEMI and HF with an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.86 or above. This evidence concerns the gene HLA-J and hydrops fetalis.
