NLRP3 and periodontitis: Whereas the overexpressed lincRNA‐EPS in MGFs may competitively reduce the amount of TDP43 that co‐activated with NF‐κB through its interaction with TDP43, to weaken the transcriptional expression of caspase‐11 and NLRP3 inflammasome components, namely, NLRP3, caspase‐1, caspase‐11, IL‐1α and IL‐1β, and subsequently inhibit the activation of these inflammasomes, thereby alleviating periodontitis.
