Because FAP_C0 played a profibrotic role, we further examine the fibrosis percentage of coronary PVAT among different stages of coronary atherosclerosis, and results showed the fibrotic remodeling degree of coronary PVAT was significantly increased by 1.63-fold and 1.86-fold in NOCA and OCA compared with NC, respectively (Figure 5E and 5F). This evidence concerns the gene FAP and coronary atherosclerosis.
