To assess lncRNA BCCE4 expression levels, we conducted fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) assays of 30 paired bladder cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues and found that the expression of lncRNA BCCE4 was significantly higher in bladder tumors than in normal tissues (Figure 2D,E), and its expression was also significantly higher in smokers than in nonsmokers (Figure 2F). This evidence concerns the gene EMSLR and urinary bladder cancer.
